Royal Palaces of India

India is an amalgamation of many Princely states which merged with the Indian Union at the time of Independence. Hence, India is blessed with a myriad of small and large Palaces which belonged to the erstwhile Kings & Princes of India. Palaces in India have their own unique character and mirror the character of the rulers who built them. Some are whimsical, others Grand and still others imbibing western influences in their architecture. A visit to India definately calls for a vist to some of her palaces.

Lake Palace, Udaipur  -  A pleasure palace built by the rulers of Udaipur. Presently a luxury hotel run by the Taj group....
